ya know, the 4wd is really cool with all the bells and whistles but I agree that 2wd makes drivers--and this is where the hobby started. If 2wd was so bad I'm certain manufacturers would have started w/4wd. I was going to purchase 4wd Platinum Slash but now I ask myself, "why?" Finally got my 2wd Slashes setup w/tires, motor, etc and I love it. It is so much easier to maintain, upgrade, drive than 4wd. If you feel the need to go 4wd, I say go for it but myself,my wife and friends love my 2wd. The 4wd Slash is in a class of its own so being so new-maybe in time the bling will wear off just like everything else.
