how balanced is the car side to side when running the esc behind the servo? or are most of you guys just putting the esc on the side like most cars?
It all comes down to what ESC/Rx/servo etc. you actually have as they are all different sizes. Also whether you run a receiver pack or booster. You can only really find out properly by laying everything out and doing a balance test.
The good thing is that the XL gives us the space to try more layouts out, and to get the ESC closer to the centre of the car, which most others don't.
