I've heard that the hpi 1/5 Baja 5B is about the best you can get. However, these beasts need a lot of track/land to operate. You may have more options with the "smaller" 1/8. These things are incredibly fast and fun. I have a Losi 8ight and an HPI Ve8. The Losi is very high quality and I have had a blast with it. I just finished putting together the Ve8 and haven't tried it out yet.

If you are looking for a Vorza RTR, you can get the HPI Vorza or Kyosho Inferno VE. I don't know how good the electronics are for the RTR's though. Make sure your LHS carries parts for what you decide to buy.

Other good buggies are the Associated RC8 and the OFNA Hyper 9e. For those, you will have to assemble a kit and buy the electronics. If you go that route I would recommend Tekin RX8 or the Castle MMM systems.
