2.5 out on top and bottom gets me really close. The bottom end is really easy to box tune. Just fatten it up and listen for the high idle to drop. Keep leaning it until she hardly drops. Also keep your idle gap half of a 1.5mm wrench.
+1. With cooler temps out now, it may need to be a tad richer but you'll find it. Just make sure not to tune the low end until you have 4-5 hard laps on the track. The engine always sems real rich on bottom until you bring it up to full temp. 270 out of the engine is OK, and honestly, if you are happy with it, it may not need to be "retuned" all together. Lean the bottom 2-3 hrs and richen the top one hour, and that should still keep temps in check and get you some snap.
