I was thinking about the same. In addition, why would they only sell few of the full line of their HD servos? It is simple, they beat any other brand name servo for 1/4 the price. There is no need to sell/offer other servos as one does it "all".

That servo is also fast: 0.16/0.14 sec/60°

So to answer your question: Just because! There is no good reason not to unless you want to save 15 grams or less and spend more $$.

That servo you recommended is not bad either. But I would factor lengthy shipping that can take many weeks and can be expensive too, and forget any warranty with the HK purchases. Troybuiltmodels is US based firm in Sarasota FL. I would buy from Troy before I buy anything from HK unless you point a gun at me.

And when you retire it from 1/10 scale, you can put it to 1/8 or may be event to 1/4 scale and hook it up to 2 cells lipo pack direct. That is when you get 284oz-in.
