You original quote says a few extra drivers are bringing in like 450+ points, we 'are' talking like 18 total though, if a club can come up with near 18 or so extra members putting rubber to road, surely they deserve every extra point they get?, purely on the basis they got out there in force, regardless of what class they ran.

And that brings it around, be it nitro or electric, if the quiet runners want to close up classes to get more points, then sure under rules and points as for this year, I guess it's a valid enough tactic.
(Under the old points system though, would it have been considered fair for a host club to limit electric classes to only two?, I'm not suggesting anything, but hey with the direction this is going, if you say wanted to keep the old points system, would that be 'more' fair or considered unfair?.)

It's always going to be someone vs someone else, yeah in this case it's looking fuel vs zap, but really it's also club vs club, you can't avoid that in the end, take it seriously or not, some will some won't, some will do it for fun, others 'will' do everything to win.

Is the system now stacked for numbers?, well in an indirect way, I'd more suggest it shows a bias to help the host club, think about that carefully, because you then need to ask, is that fair or not?.
