the Gx carbs definately work on the older engines no problem at all and the gen 5.5s came with the coated wrist pin so I'd say it's still stock but I'd still put in a new rod just for peice of mind
Yes GX Carbs are retrofittable back to gen 5
Regarding Go Rods in other engines , you will probably find that as long as the engine you want to fit it to has a yoke centre measurement of 29.50 mm there is a good chance it will work. You can also use a Hyper .21 rod in a nova as long as the cranks worn a tad . You can also try using a Force .25 rod in a CMB .21 marine engine they are interchangeable.
Lots ao parts are interchangable as standards are very similar across the board
