I used this switch on my mtx3. It does add weight, and it does drain power in the "off" mode. After about a week or so, the battery was discharged. Also, my computerized battery charger would not charge through the switch, and I had to by-pass the switch in order to charge the battery.

Thanks for the confirmation and information Jack.
On a side note, I always take out my receiver pack to charge. I put a charged one in as I have more than a pack for spare.
