Isn't it a scrutineers job to make sure a car complies with all the rules?

Trev I don't know why the defensive tone in your post but okay I'll play along...

Maybe you have never had a scrutineer with something against you personally?

Maybe you have the proper tools and can afford to bring a dremel and spare screws when the engine mount screws strip?

Maybe you have a pitman to do your work for you?

Maybe you don't have to marshall your own races?

I have nothing to hide Trev, my TG is quick and I'm proud of it.
