I trimmed an old servo/esc lead, soldered the ends, and eased them into the esc plug. Since taking the picture I've heat shrunk them together.
no more unplugging for me
should also work for other esc's that use a PC for set up.
Have you tried it? I think there may be a problem with the rec plugged in supplying power and a signal. I know this will not work with the Tekin. I use a 3 inch extension works great.
