I used AW grease on the diff plates and 3mm balls. However I first sanded the diff plates to make them flat and I used Much More Thrust bearing grease on the thrust. I changed the balls to the carbide 3mm Tamiya balls.
Make sure you do not over tighten the diff nut. I have already stripped a 2mm locknut, split a thrust bearing and snapped a screw.
I am now trying some other Tamiya parts in the MO5 diff, which are stronger.

my 3Racing ball diff snapped the screw mid Qualifying , took it appart and replaced it with a TRF415 part , as tight as i think it needs to be PERFECT
