In your suitcase, put all parts and tools inside cardboard kit boxes, i can fit 2 in my suitcase, then wrap the bodies in clothes etc.

Go through all your gear and have a good think about what you actually use at the track and what you dont, you will be shocked at the amount of fluff you carry around with you. The rest packs down pretty easy.
Remember no tools in your carry on or it will be taken.
Bradd is the expert at packing to go to Thailand. Only guy I have seen unpacking his bag in the middle of the airport terminal trying to get rid of excess stuff ... including jumpers ... for Thailand
