Alright I just got a nitro tc3 And I'm looking to begin racing with it. Not pro level racing of course, just club racing. I used to race a TC5 so I know the racing scene. So back to my question, I'm looking to put a sirio s12-trp pro in the nitro tc3, and I'm just wondering if the engine will work because it has a pilot shaft and what clutch should I use? I should also ,If you do go with a centax clutch it will only work with pilot shaft engine.

Yes it will work. The NTC3 can use a pilot or short standard shaft with the appropriate adaptor. To run with a pilot you just need the nut. Some after market made a centax clutch for the NTC3 but it expensive 100.00++. and hard to find. I would run the three shoe setup with the copper springs. A centax clutch is going extremely hard on your diff gears(weakest point of your drive train). Good luck and have fun!!!!
