adrian m i run a quad 12 and there is no warping of the chassis with the brace like an oring car and it does not waigh more then tape especially when i have to add about an ounce on my car to make waight so you could say that it equals out.
and by the way taping a batt in can cause the frame the warp also and if you bottom out the tape can snagg on the carpet.
the quad 12 is an awsome car .
