Just makes sure it's not to strong for your servo. Have enough to get the throtle shut and thats it.

rubber bands are a good short term solution. be careful though, the band might melt on the motor, or they will get hard and brittle pretty quick and break.
your best long term solution is to use a regular return spring, or be like me and not use one at all
