Nothing yet. I also don't flood the engine full of it either. When assembling new engines, I use a dropper to control oil amount and placement so the engine receives the oil the proper places in the proper amount to ship and get fired up. After the customer gets it, it is up to them what they want to use to clean their engine. Most people don't because they feel the oil residue from the fuel protects enough between runs. I go through mine after every race weekend, clean it up, check things out and reoil the parts the same way I build everyone's engine. I can see some chemicals making the silicone expand and not adhering to the metals anymore but the stuff I use doesn't seem to be affected by the oils I use in the engines. Maybe I will take a filled crank and let it soak in WD40 and MMO for a few days and see what happens
Mark I dont know if your aware but Novarossi advise against useing WD-40 in their motors. If you go on their web site and go to faq at the bottom of the page and then go to 13th item down the list entitled, What is after run oil & how do i use it. They advise not to put WD-40 or oils containing silicon in their motors. I know WD-40 is silicon free but perhaps their are other things in it not suitable for motors. Or is it Nova wanting you to buy their oils. Martin
