if u have the manual,u ca see that there is a pin which is perpendicular to the axle and i think the pin has either slipped out a little(blocking the extraction) or it might be broken inside...
try to shake it a little to help it back into position(within the axle)
OR destroy the steering Hub(which costs like 5bucks),and save the Axle(which costs a lot more)
