But seriously , I have seen many of the 7940 servos gearsets become notchy very quickly , I would chock it up to the insane amount of torque the motor will hold and the very tall gearing that puts a lot of stress on the gears themselves .

Still a badass fast servo and I am not trying to dis on them , just telling you that the 7950 would be a better choice for an 8th scale vehicle , that's all .

come to think of it it was the steering servo on most of the servos that i have felt with problems. the ones that were on the throttle and notchy were probably from the steering possibly.

either way , hitec servos are the best package on the market.
