It's funny how popular the Mulsanne is - it was never meant to be apart of the WGT scene (not even loosely) because of the performance difference.
This is why I wrote our club rules to say:
"Road Vehicle based 2/3 door Rear Wheel Driven shells only"
The Mulsanne is NOT road based, it is track based built to be road legal.
The Porsche 911 is rear engined with the motor hanging over the rear axle.
The Porsche (Mulsanne) 911 GT1 had the motor moved forward in front of the rear axle, so is not a road based Porsche 911 configuration.
Same applies to the Mercedes CLK GTI, motor moved from front to middle.
