The caps have always from the beginning been easy to make a mistake cross threading.
Also the thread size has not changed on the bodies or even the new caps....
The thread absolutely did change. This is a fact. You could look at my shock bodies next to each other and see the difference. The caps that I was using on the old bodies would not thread onto the new body, the new caps thread on fine. As I mentioned earlier, a factory AE driver confirmed the change.
