Yep Maximo, it's Scrogg from S/C. I had to add the JL21 to my name, appears there is another scrogg lurking around this forum....I see you still have Integra following you around like a good little boy.....J/K guys. Thanks for sharing your input, as always I appreciate it. I got my hands on the engine for the first time today. She's definitely no Picco, still pissed about that. I thought for sure since it was a JL, it would be a Picco based mill like the .28. I'm no fan of Force engines, hope this one changes my mind. The exhaust port is really similar in shape to my A.D. 21, that's why I was thinking/hoping it was another Picco. Overall impression is, it's a good quality engine. Very nicely made, strong internals. Carb is a bit cheasy to me, but I have two Picco and a LRP carb if necessary. Crank needs more work for sure, little heavy IMO. . We'll see when it comes back from modding.
Anyone run it with the 86 pipe yet??
@ Easy Rider, I just let my 2nd JP-3 go in a package deal.....damnit.
I'm stuck with one pipe right now, never been a fan of that pipe's top end characteristic's. It seems to choke out must engine's top end. Many thanks again for your input. I wish I had kept it now that you verified it's worth on the mill.
