I don't see any connection between these and the 3S Proteks that are sitting connected in my radio.
Just seems that a lipo connected to any circuit would be more likely to over discharge. I can think of a bunch of reasons why a radio may end up sitting for some time, perhaps unexpectedly. I've heard of guys accidentally leaving their radio on too, I’ve loaned out AAs at the track a couple of times.

I guess I just lean towards the safe side, I rarely even charge nimh in the radio on the slight chance that something may go haywire. Which incidentally I just had happen recently with a separate AA charger that flaked out, didn't shut off. Fortunately nothing more than burnt cells and a nasty smell. But I’m glad it wasn’t in the radio.


Oh, I thought you were only supposed to leave your exes in TX?
