Without trying an external RX pack, different brand ESC, or external BEC upping the voltage won't help if the BEC is overloaded & shutting down in the ESC you have now.

If you do an external RX pack, you'd have to check the wiring layout on that... it may be as simple as keeping the on/off switch "off" on the ESC.
You'll have to look into it.
