Flame out on hard landing?
Hello,
I am new to nitro and have been running a Novarossi +4 for 3 weeks now. The +4 has run perfect. I usually have to shut the engine off. Never flames out or dies.
Last night at a club race, the engine died when I let a friend drive it and he overshot the triple and landed hard in the flat. I would never thought twice about it except in the Main I was hit hard in the side by another buggy and the motor stopped again.
Would you consider this a flame out? Or will these motors die from hard impacts?
