I use a .002mm and a .001mm head shims. that gives me a total of .006mm for head clearance. Deck height is about.003mm. I also use the stock restrictor. I also highly rec. a 086 pipe[has more top then bottom] I am also using a 17 tooth clutch bell that came with the x-2 kit. But remember my engine is not the sport engine. It would be a gen 5.5. I see he is selling the new gx line. Depending on your driving skills[mine have improved] I would go with a stock gx-7 port for your buggy. You get the best of both worlds between the 3 and 5 port engines. And use the 3 port for tight tracks. I have a brand new 5port combo kit that I am not sure if I am going to run it yet or not. I really love my modded 3port,good bottom/great top! change pipes and reverse the power band a bit.[your 053 pipe]
