I'm in in the process of converting me 12L3 from the stock dampening discs to SpeedMerchant dampening tubes, and I think that's all the car really needs (well, it's getting a spring steel t-plate, too...). I know there doesn't seem to be many t-plate car fans around here, but they are good cars. Heck, a stock 12L3 won Cleveland....so they can't suck!
I've been at the 18 years myself, and have learned to that Associated style cars are hardly ever out to lunch.
Brolzy: It's a great Mod car, and can be made to run well in stock. Hell Vicky Blackstock won stock in Cleveland with a Modified version of the 12L. Of course a link car TQ'd with a time WAAAAAY faster than the times posted in the main, so it's still a debate. Of course the debate, (bench racing) is what makes this hobby fun!
