From an economic standpoint I understand it. If everyone runs the same stuff then its fair for everyone. Butters brought up a good point though. We all know what Jack does (or doesnt do) to the carpet. Im not sure anyone knows the long term effects of SF on carpet yet.
At this point all the traction compounds are working strictly off their solvent properties, so in theory a compound with slightly less traction, should be better for the carpet. (solvent action is less powerful). We'll find out after Snowbirds, that race has more laps turned than most club tracks do in a season.
And at the new price, Gripper should be renamed "Jack the Reamer"
