Rev - good observation but not a good comparison. 19 turn is running foam tires which are good for at least a lap and half or two laps in five minutes over the Take Off handout rubber tires the brushless guys are running. I was down there this morning to watch a round of qualifying, the foam tire guys (stock, 19 turn and modified) have laid down so much traction that the rubber tire cars are having serious traction roll problems too requiring a very deliberate and conservative driving style. I sat with Jeff Gundlach for an hour or more discussing the changes he had to make to his X-Ray to just get it driveable.
Brushless is running the standard Novak motor and speed control, put the cars on foam and they'd be just as fast as the 19's and mod's.
