there is no doubt at all that these engines are lacking when comparing to the novas os speeds ect down the straight over the jumps they pack the punch and the speed

I'm a little surprised to hear you say that about straights.... Not trying to be big noting, but the only car I've seen come close to the MG66 in truggy is a Ninja & I've watch another guy at our club running a MG66 in his Losi 8ight 2.0 buggy just eat the competition & we both use 6.5mm restrictors. mmmmm, might need to investigate, these motor have some seriously long legs, they continue to rev higher after most others have topped out.
