The GX5R was with only 3 liters of use, so I was not with the perferct tune, I was on the rich side.
7mm Venturi and my pit stops were 8min. (NO problem at all) I could go to 10 min but we play safe and had a 8min stragety.
Pipe that I used was Dynamite 086, glow plug NR C7TF (No GO plugs for me)
Sidewinder 20%Nitro and 10% oil.

We race 2 heats of 20min each, I won both heats and was the only to do 27 laps on the last heat.

on the first heat, the temp ended at 215ºF and on the second heat, we lean the engine and finish the race with 230ºF

The engine was GREAT!!!!!!!!! great bottom and power, Could jump the triples with no problem. it holds the tune extremly well and it was very easy to tune. Note: its NOT a TORO NERO but for the ratio of cost/happines is a VERY VERY good VALUE!

If you are think to get an engine, DONT THINK, just go and get it, you will be very happy, KNOW I have a new power plant for next year South American Championship

Have fun and dont forget to have fun

Hey, nice report ALG. Seems like everyone else, you think the new GX Series GO's are a great motor
You hit the nail on the head with the Toro Nero comparison. Your quite right - it's not a Toro Nero, or an OS Speed Tuned. It never will be, and I don't think any of the dealers or racers that use the product try to pretend it is. As you stated, what the GX motors provide is very, very good value and performance for the money you spend, and you can't ask for more than that.
Nice racing too by the way
