I recently received a Savage SS in a trade. I completely tore the truck down and cleaned it and re lubed the diffs. The only thing I did not take a part was the trans.

The problem that I am having is that when it goes to shift into 2nd it stalls out. If I old the throttle down as it shifts and keep the throttle down the motor just cuts out. If I let off the throttle just after it shifts it seems ok. It almost sounds like something in the trans is tight when it hits second. Was wondering if anyone else has had this issue? Was hoping i could get some suggestions before I went and tore apart the trans.
