somethin to chew on. every1 talks bout droppin brushless in their slash, but between the $ and fact that the trucks are so quick around the track already in present form. it died a quick death. ur track may be different...but the cheap factor still has trucks flyin out the door.

The problem is that people assume getting a brushless system will make their truck light years faster. BUt thats not even the point, I use brushless because it lasts and lasts. Sure, stock motors are plenty fast for stock tires and most drivers, but after a few weeks of racing I have to buy another to stay competitive. If you want to keep these guys racing for a long time, brushless only makes sense.
Plenty of cheap brushless systems out there work great and last damn near forever. Cost arguments go out the window if you want to keep racing.
