be honest up here, 'mod' slash flopped. people just like the simplicity of just being the same and not spendin any $ on this nice cheap truck. and now that all the trucks have been brought in and the track has found thru lots of testing that most all of them are pretty equal. its made for a real good show. they chose to break it up by ability level, but the 'pro' class is still almost completely stock (ur radio and rx, choice of oils/pinion, and 1 or 2 parts found to be weak pts on each respective truck slash-shock caps, losi-driveshafts etc). in fact all trucks with a 4600 down to a 17.5 never managed to outrun the stock truck on stock rubber here.

somethin to chew on. every1 talks bout droppin brushless in their slash, but between the $ and fact that the trucks are so quick around the track already in present form. it died a quick death. ur track may be different...but the cheap factor still has trucks flyin out the door.
