Loosen the 3 screws on the back of the motor Counter clockwise is advanceing Clockwise is Retarding. Rember when you Advance the timeing you take away bottom end power and make more heat so you have to go smaller on the pinion or bigger on the spur.
if i loosened it up just a tad with a 25 pinion gear and 55 spur gear will it still create too much heat? if i loosen it just a tiny bit will it make a difference?(a noticable diference?)
