16 ga.TQ is what I prefer.I have used 14ga. on the batt--but not needed,it just fits the 3.5 bullets better.
I'm using the 4mm bullet connectors from Great Planes. One side at the top is open. Soldered the wire at a 90-degree angle, making the wires lay parallel and flat on top of the battery.
