I use 12g in my TC's and 16g on my old black can 1/12 scale car..
What should I use for hte new brushless setups.. I won't be running anything faster than a 17.5......
Use 16 gauge. With three wires and a sensor bundle running to the motor you need everything to be as flexible as possible. Since the batteries have 14 gauge wire on them you can use 14ga from the esc to the battery, but it won't get you anything. Make sure you get some good quality flexible wire for the 16ga, like Dean's, TQ or OD Racing (the best imo
)
