My only thought is that maybe my idle gap is way off even though it doesnt appear to be. If I try and turn in the LSN it makes the idle go up dramatically. Oh it is running at around 230 and idleing all day.
Haven't used a short LSN for a while now but if it's running fine temps OK and smoking you could just leave it alone.BUT..If the HSN is too lean you will probably find temps climbing or lean bog once you try to do a number of high speed passes..opening the HSN and closing the LSN will make the idle speed/temps remain the same but will give you more fuel flow at higher throttle openings..try it ..get the motor up to temp and tear up a few WOT runs..if it gets hot or lean bogs then start again..I'm sure the base settings are flush/flush for the short needle same as for the long needles..
