The Nova P5 is a great motor and will definitely suit your needs. The motor is strong all the way through the power band and gets pretty good run-time stock. You are looking at 8-8:30 minutes per tank stock. The motor will benefit from being modded in terms of a smoother stronger power band and much better run time. Mark of Powerhouse r/c does some nice mod work. His work just keeps getting better over the years and his most recent P5 easily gets 10min conservatively meaning it wont be coming in on fumes. I personally had an Rc8 a few years back and the buggy benefits from having a smoother motor as the car seemed to like to be driven smoothly. I would contact Mark as he will give you EXACTLY what you want in the motor and will give you a real good price. Regardless of whether or not your going to run it stock or modified, the P5 is a perfect choice, the price is right, they run great and last a long time.
