hobby nine is consistant, smooth and lasts as long as anything. its got typical novarossi characteristics when piped correctly such as great runtime, long life and runs strong like its pissed off all the time.
not knowing what you mean by getting ripped for sure but on an average note for engines at an average level the jpx will impress everybody especially the buyer/owner for spending little cash and getting tons of power.
thru the past couple years iv ran quite a few mills and these 2 i still have and run as race engines due to there lifespan and most of all there power when tuned and clutched in there respective vehicles.
im more directing my comments towards your price range which is my same range as is many guys at most race levels. your definately weighing your options and surely will make a good choice. be sure to run a search
