If your lipo has a flat bottom I recommend NOT filing the battery slots. Use lexan pieces keyed to the slots to secure the lipo. The square edge in the CF will prevent the lexan strips on the battery from popping/sliding out.
i know what you're talking about but do you have any pictures so we can see how you've done it. i've seen it done a couple different ways.
