Yeah that may be true but I have always run 48P and never had a noise problem with any of my cars except for the VerII. Im thinking maybe the spur gear is damaged which I will replace or K12 was loose would that of caused the noise issue? I have run the same brushless motor in the car before without a noise problem.
I'll admit, I HAVE noticed a bit more noise from my ver.2 compared to its predecessor or my 416, but I can't tell it's had any effect on its speed or efficiency(nothing runs hotter than it should, & my car's plenty quick & seems to roll pretty freely), so it may just be something to get used to(& I do run 64 pitch gears, so I don't think gear pitch is the whole story)....
