Using a HP J4839A power supply for a ProCurve 41xx/53xx modular network switch.

24V at 23A.

While I had to disassemble it to examine the connector outputs and build a harness out of an old ATX power extension cord, it was worth the effort.

Powers my Hyperion DUO3 effortlessly.

Edit: Corrected part number. You can get these for under $100 on Ebay. They are designed for 24x7x365 operation and are tough nuts. All high quality transformers and caps inside
