It could be that my nimh packs are nearing the end of their lives, nonetheless, has anyone else had this experience? I know ESCs suck power even when turned off, but didn't think radios did. (As a matter of policy, I never leave lipos plugged in when not in use.)
I have had near identical experiences to you John, my 3PM's 3s lipo has never missed a beat and doesn't require unplugging after a days racing ... but left in a Nimh in my React will run flat to the point of ruin. It's clear there is current still being drawn by the React even after shut down.
Am curious to know which BEC you use and where u got it ...
