Sure hope so, I’ve done it. Set for nimh, to whatever number of cells, I use 0.5 amps for AA. Generally they can't take much or they heat up. Not sure about AAA, never tried that, maybe 0.2~0.3 amps???

Radio Shack sells various little holders for oddball around the house stuff. Generally RC transmitters have charging jacks, might need a plug/adapter. Watch out for polarity, some brands are different, JR and Spektrum I think. I usually take the batteries out for charging just to be over safe, last thing I want is to muck up a nice radio over a $1 battery issue.
