The Serpent metal is very hard but that can make for a brittle piece. I have not broken any parts yet except for two of the hardened optional diff rings. Those will shatter like glass they are so brittle!!!
Until you get a replacement slider, you can just put longer 3mm set screws through the aluminum slider and use those to set the T bar tweak. I sometimes do not use my blades. As for the shock shaft, not much you can do there except get another.
