Went to the track today expecting rain and indoor racing. Turned out to be beautiful so we raced asphalt outside. Already had Larry's carpet setup on the car so I started changing back to an outdoor setup and figured I'd wing it. I signed up for 17.5 (not knowing how the car was going to handle). Ran 1 heat and set TQ by more than a lap. I put the 13.5 in and finished the day in that class. My 17.5 TQ held even though I only ran one qualifier. My speedo was not set to optimize the 13.5 but I made it work. Qualified and finished 2nd for the day. My average lap time was better than 3rd place' fastest lap time.
The car worked really well and will only get better as I get the timing corrected on the motor/speedo. I love this car.
