The best way to check visually if you have a standard or turbo button is to do the following
Remove the plug from the engine, then remove the button from the engine. Look straight down where the top of the plug would normally be, if the hole is clear and threaded all the way to the end it's a standard button.
If you look down and see the thread end then a taper on the button it's a turbo plug.
Another way to check is to measure the width of the thread in the button if it's the same on either side of the button it's a standard, if it's bigger on the plug side than the piston side, then it's a turbo button.
Sounds like you have a turbo though from what you say.
