Thanks for the clarification. I noticed that the stinger was a bit short as compared to the 1040 pipe. I guess I use the 1050 pipe for local racing and have to use the 1040 pipe for the sanctioned races. Thanks again for the heads up info.
The funny thing about the ROAR rule is that they measure the length of the stinger from the tip to where it meets the canister at its furthest point. IFMAR and EFRA measure the length of the stringer itself, no matter how far it sticks in or out of the canister. They measure it from inside the stringer (with something like a exhaust spring tool). ROAR needs to look into this a little further. DAWN!!!!
