I've got the Hyper 7 PCR Edition which is a Pivot Ball Suspension just like the PBS and I can't complain. The Hyper .21 8 port was pretty much a joke but other than that it's a great buggy. I know my diffs only came with a small amount of grease in them so I'd just verify that you've got diff fluid in them.
