I assume you talking about the blocks that hold the arms on; if so, they do not affect ride height, they affect roll center, anti-dive, kick-up, anti-squat, etc.
On asphalt most people run either a spool or a one-way (depends on driving style and track) so keep the mulit-diff in it.
